Hey,

Inside plasma5 it is impossible to interact with ring using the system
tray. No right click nor left click can open the ring application again
or shows a context menu. The bug is also reported at plasma side
[362556].

It looks like the problem is not at plasma side only and the plasma
developer suggested, that ring should witsch to updated SNI [1], to
solve the problem at application side.

Regards,

sandro

This is really annoying usability wise, as all my other tray icons can be
used to pop up the application. But for Ring I need to right click to get
the action menu and select 'Show Ring' to get it back. :(

Hello,

Are you able to advise if that was fixed with the last upload?

Cheers,

I've tried to build the latest ring on Stretch, without any luck, so no,
not yet. I lack a non-stable test machine at the moment. Will try to
find time to set one up.
