Dear Maintainer,

This first happened/I first noticed it about 2 weeks ago. I ran rhythmbox in a
terminal to see the error and that's how I found out it was a segmentation
fault. The particular application I was installing when I was testing to file
this bug report was shotwell, and I tested the much smaller package "cowsay" as
well, which did NOT result in a crash. So apparently it DOES matter which
package is being installed. I guess that points to it having something to do
with dependencies?

Removing software does not cause a crash.

It does not matter whether one is using apt/dpkg through a command line or GUI.

To reproduce: run rhythmbox 3.4 and install a package. I guess the problem
might be with my version of apt or dpkg too, or something else. It seems very
strange.

Hope this is helpful.
