   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

We tried using different versions of Icedove, tried removing add ons, tried
completely new .default profile, tried uninstall/reinstall icedove. This
happens with our debian 8 servers and destkop systems. Have duplicated issue
with Mate, KDE, and XFCE DE's. On one test destkop, we installed Thunderbird
and had the same exact issue. Issue happens when printing back to back print
jobs (usually 4-5 emails). It doesnt happen when just printing one job.

One more thing I'd like to add, we are also seeing Filter Failed in CUPS
when printing fails. We have tried different drivers, HPLIP, makes no
difference, issues persists with all our Debian 8 systems.

Hello, I reported this bug, but it has come to my attention that its not
just with Icedove, Its printing from any application. A greyed out Print
Dialog box comes up and just hangs. Sometimes it will come back on its
own, other times, I have to log out of my account and log back in to be
able to print again.

Ok another add. It does not happen with every application. It does not
seem to happen with Libreoffice, though the print dialog box that opens
is different then say, Pluma text editor or Icedove's. Just some more info.
