Dear Maintainer, lolcat doesn't like some inputs and might crash. lolcat /bin/cat
This bug needs to be reported in upstream rather than in debian. Thanks
reopen 839892 thanks Hello, in Debian users are encouraged to report bugs to package maintainers, not to upstream projects. The maintainer can decide to report it to upstream, in which case it should be marked as forwarded https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control#forwarded If you fail to reproduce on a newer version it's also valid to close a bug. It could be that upstream has fixed it, I haven't used this in several years. Best Il giorno dom 24 mag 2026 alle ore 15:35 Debian Bug Tracking System <owner@bugs.debian.org> ha scritto:

I believe we can close this. Best
