This bug needs to be reported in upstream rather than in debian.

Thanks

Hello,

in Debian users are encouraged to report bugs to package maintainers,
not to upstream projects.

The maintainer can decide to report it to upstream, in which case it
should be marked as forwarded
https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control#forwarded

If you fail to reproduce on a newer version it's also valid to close a
bug. It could be that upstream has fixed it, I haven't used this in
several years.

Hi,

I just found this issue link: https://github.com/busyloop/lolcat/issues/58

Upstream says it will not be implementing support for binary.

I believe we can close this.
