#843801 RFA: exactimage -- fast image manipulation programs

I request an adopter for the exactimage package.

The package description is:
ExactImage is a fast C++ image processing library. Unlike many other library
frameworks it allows operation in several color spaces and bit depths
natively, resulting in low memory and computational requirements.

It would be best if someone actually using this package could take over
its maintenance.

Hi Sven & Samuel,

I see this package is marked for adoption, but then again lots of
activity and quick responses.

I see Sven set Samuel as maintainer in commit b5025918.

Are you still looking for adoption? I'm not a DD and made a bit of a
mess with my previous replies to this bug, but willing to help.

Br,

Pieter

As RFA - so you can change the bug to ITA to show to everyone that you want to
adopt it.

Now only in the ITA branch - which was not included in the last revision
because I didn't see any replies from him. Or any actions after the
(incorrect) ITA ticket was created.

Yes, please follow my advice from
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1127480#15

And you both can also co-maintain the package via salsa. I think you should
have access to the package as user @plenae. The branch layout is trying to
follow the recommendations from DEP-14. These branches are therefore protected
and must go through merge requests.

Uploads can be done via dgit-maint-gbp(7) (using git-debpush). Of course, as a
non-DD without associations to this package, you can't directly use
tag2upload. If you would become a Debian Maintainer [1] and get the ACLs
changed for exactimage [2], you could most likely also use git-debpush.

Regards,
	Sven
