I was having issues with fast user switching in Gnome. When the first user
leaves something running that uses the sound card the second user only gets a
"Dummy Output" sound device. Researching the problem led me to find that users
should not be in the 'audio' group but all of the users on my systems were:

Hello,

I had #849265 reported against adduser for this problem that exists in
d-i's user-setup. It also exists in adduser if the --add_extra_groups
flags is used (which is why I didn't reassign/merge), user-setup is
adding this groups directly.

pkg-systemd [2].

I will empty out the EXTRA_GROUPS lists to just contain "users" in one
of the next uploads. I am running my own machines with this already
(having removed myself from all groups that are in EXTRA_GROUPS in
adduser) and would like to stay with that for a week or so before I
change the package.
