Package: isc-dhcp-relay Version: 4.3.5-3 Severity: important After upgrading from 4.3.5-1 to 4.3.5-3 relaying bridge interfaces seem not to work any more: I have three interfaces A, B, C part of a bridge X. In /etc/default/isc-dhcp-relay I set INTERFACES="X" After upgrading I get the following errors if a device connected via A makes an dhcp-reqest: Jan 15 17:38:02 wuschel dhcrelay[1573]: Discarding packet received on A interface that has no IPv4 address assigned. Jan 15 17:38:02 wuschel dhcrelay[1573]: Discarding packet received on B interface that has no IPv4 address assigned. Jan 15 17:38:02 wuschel dhcrelay[1573]: Discarding packet received on C interface that has no IPv4 address assigned. As these interfaces are bridge ports they don't have an IP-address. X has one but dhcprelay seems not consider X any more. Instead it considers B and C where the packet has not been received from. Downgrading to 4.3.5-1 fixes the problem. Regards,
control: tag -1 moreinfo dhcommon-getifaddrs.patch is the only thing I think that would have touched dhcrelay during the last two updates. Can you try unapplying that patch? The only other thing I can think of is that and dhcrelay-listen.patch do not interact correctly, so you could try unapplying that separately. It would also help if you could test 4.3.5-2 to make sure it wasn't a change in that version, which I think is unlikely. Best wishes, Mike
