Dear Maintainer,

in irregular intervals I lost my IPv4 address. I tried 'dhclient eth0' to get a new one IP address, but I didn't got one. When I restarted the computer everything was ok.Mostly I got a new IP address, when I restarted the network device via 'service networking restart'.

I investigated the problem and looked into dhclient.eth0.leases and dhclient.leases, which are stored in /var/lib/dhcp/.
My dhclient.leases looked normal, but at one section there are unusual signs:

Can you provide more information about how to reproduce this?  Are you
using anything else that might be touching the leases file, maybe
network manager?

You could try watching it with lsof to see if any other process is touching it.
