This package is a dependency of mycroft-core, another python application
that I am trying to package.

I plan to join the Debian Python Modules Team and maintain the package as a
part of that team. I'd appreciate any members of that team who would be
willing to help maintain the package after this initial packaging. I am
also looking for a sponsor for this and future packages.

I have a ready to upload (no lintian errors, with some warnings) fork of this
package in here: https://github.com/mertyildiran/speech_recognition You can
build the package using "dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc -I" command. Let's
upload this package. I will be waiting for your reply.

python-speechrecognition for Debian?  I am happy to serve as a mentor
and join your effort.

https://github.com/mertyildiran/speech_recognition returned 404 to me
though.  It is migrated to somewhere else?
