Dear Maintainer,

I'm able to open the application but when trying to capture the screen is distorted and the whole desktop environment crashes. I can go to a TTY and kill shutter process, in that way I can get back to the desktop again.

This behavior is not present in Cinnamon, I can use it whithout problems.

I couldn't reproduce it on my laptop using Debian unstable.

Could you please provide with more details, such as syslog and/or stderr
output?

Regards,
Boyuan Yang

I want to confirm that this Bug still present even after a fresh
resintall of the SO(Buster/Testing). The only diffence is that now it isn't hanging the desktop environment, but the screen still disorted and the resulting
capture is the disorted picture.

Are you using Wayland? And multiple monitors?

I currently can't do screenshots with shutter in GNOME 3.26 under Wayland
(and I have multiple monitors). With the option to do a partial
screenshot of a selected area I can even block myself until I have to kill
shutter (with ALT+F2 command line).

Cheers,
