I have an installation of Debian testing that uses openbox as its
window manager. Recently openbox was upgraded from version 3.6.1-4.1
to 3.6.1-5 which apparently broke emacs: if I open an emacs window and
maximize it, then un-maximizing the window doesn't restore it to its
previous size, but instead behaves as if I had manually resized it to
fill the entire screen. I'm filing this bug for emacs because I have
failed to find any other program that exhibits the same problem.

I have the same effect on KDE, also with emacs 25.
