Dear Maintainer,

When editing a message in Sent folder by "Edit as New Message' menu which has ISO-2022-JP encoding, the new message can't be displayed correctly.
On the other hand, a message which has UTF-8 encoding has no problems.
Forward menu has the same problem.

Hello Tomoo,

I guess this wont be a Debian specific problem. But could you please
check if this problem is also existing in packages from Mozilla.

https://www-dev.allizom.org/en-US/thunderbird/

And as we can't write or understand japanese language at all could
report this issue afterwards on the Mozilla bugtracker? You cann add
there some screenshots to if this is helpful.

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi

Thank you!

Regards
Carsten

Carsten,

I installed original thunderbird and check again. There is no problem.
Thus, it is a Debian specific problem.
After that, I uninstalled the original thunderbird and set up Debian
thunderbird again.
The odd thing is that the symptom has disappeared.

If the symptom appear again, I would report it again.
Please close it.

Thanks,
Tomoo
