Dear Maintainer,

I have a folder with symlinked text files of most frequent use. With Kate in Debian Jessie, there were no problems;
in Debian Stretch (stable), opening a symlinked file more than once leads Kate to open another instance of it, in another tab (with the addictional "(\d+)" to the file anme in the tab title, of course).

Using Kate in KDE4 (in Jessie), if a file was already opened in a tab, the program switched to that tab, symlinked or not.
It would be nice to have the same behaviour in Kate in KDE Plasma.

The same bug occurs when a normal file is inside a folder that is a symlink, or when the file's path crosses some symlinked folders, somewhere.
