Hi,
Currently busybox FTBFS on the Hurd and GNU/kFreeBSD. I have submitted
the above patch series upstream to fix this.

Of the 7 patches you submitted upstream, 6 have been (directly) applied and
are part of upstream busybox 1.28 and Debian's 1:1.30.1-1.
http://lists.busybox.net/pipermail/busybox/2017-October/085936.html is an
alternative to your 7th patch and that's also included in BB 1.28, but IIUC
you didn't agree with that modified patch.
I checked BB's mail archive of October/November/December 2017, but it appears
there wasn't a further follow up.

What do you want to (further) do with that 7th patch and this bug report?
