Dear Maintainer,

As shown in:
https://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2017/10/msg00640.html

Can't change Ethernet 802.1x password through gnome-control-center - Wired
Settings - Wired - Security - 802.1x.

When trying the change through gnome-control-center, when going back password
is the previous one.

The only method is to disable security completely and enable it again and
define all security options back again.

If manually trying with another tool, such as nm-connection-editor from
termional the change works.

This applies to debian stable version, haven't tried other versions.
