Hey.

Since Mozilla decided to throw away countless of extensions which make
actually make FF at least somewhat useable and safe (no script, tabmix+,
https everywhere, status bar 4 eva... ), well at least until all these
convert to the new framework as far as this is possible,... most of these
got basically broken in FF57.

Shouldn't the package have breaks against the respective Debian packages?
That would help users to see that their stuff won't work anymore when they
update.

Cheers,
Chris.

$ apt-cache search xul-ext | wc -l
80

That doesn't sound like a great idea.

Allegedly there is something in nightly builds an an option which still
lets the "legacy" add-ons work for now in FF... if so, could this be
enabled in the Debian package?

Cheers,
Chris.
