when recording multiple clips and one of the recordings is named 'Clip 2' that
recording gets overwritten by any new recordings.

So I always have to rename the clips to ensure they are not overwritten.

Does ths still happen? I couldn't reproduce it in version 3.38.0-2. The
naming convention is now "Recording 1", "Recording 2", ... and it seems
the automatically-chosen name always avoids duplicating the name of an
existing recording.

said I cannot reproduce it either on 3.38.0.
But I have failed to actually name the recording 'Clip 2'! In fact I can
not get a space in the name directly after recording because that will
trigger the record button. Which then goes inactive and I can only
record again after application restart.
