Hi,

When I plug my iPhone 6S Plus (05ac:12a8) the first time, it does charge
with a charging symbol, but when I remove it and plug it the second
time, it does not charge.

I tried to restart usbmuxd and it does start to charge, so I am
concluding that usbmuxd has been shutdown when the last device is
removed, and not bringing back by systemd-udevd.

The problem is also discussed in armbian forum:

Hi,

I've just uploaded usbmuxd 1.1.1~git20180302.b888970-0.1. When it'll be
available for you, can you give it a test and report back if it fixes the
issue for you?

It seems to work for me on an iphone SE (05ac:12a8).

Regards,

Hi,

Sorry that I almost forgot your email. It works after upgrading to the
specific version.

Hi,

this patch fixes this problem by backporting the udev rule from 1.1.1~git20181007.f838cf6-1

  * debian/patches/fix-on-reconnect.patch: backport udev rule from 1.1.1 (LP:
      #1778767)

Thanks for considering the patch.

Hi, I'm not sure what you mean by “the Ubuntu patch”?
