When you start the computer after booting safely, it will be stuck.
I am not very familiar with the grub2 code, I hope to deal with it, I am
willing to cooperate with you for debugging.
If you turn off safe boot, you can start normally.
Fedora 29 grub2 code has no stuck problems.

This isn't entirely clear.  Do you mean that 2.02+dfsg1-4 worked, but
2.02+dfsg1-5 doesn't?  Or do you mean something more complicated?

Is this related to the other report you sent by private email about
Ubuntu's grub2 package?  If so, please include the information from that
report here so that we have it all together.

I noticed from that email that you were talking about git branch names -
does that mean that you're building grub2 yourself?  If so, the more
details of what you're doing the better.

Philipp and Luca, if you could have a look at this in case it's a
regression in the SB work, that'd be great.

So perhaps this is simply that Debian doesn't yet support UEFI Secure
Boot?  We're working on it, and grub2 2.02+dfsg1-5 is an important part
of that, but not all the pieces have been put together yet.

That's quite probably it, yes. We don't yet have -5 signed with a
trusted key. From discussion with the rest of the SB team, we've
worked out that all of our signed packages will need new uploads
shortly to make that happen.

More info on the issue:

The display is connected to motherboard via mDP cable. The memory contains
two 16gb memory sticks.
I don't know whether the issue has something to do with the resolution. The
resolution of Grub2 is 1920*1080 when Secure Boot is enabled, and it is
1024*768 when Secure Boot is disabled.
This patch still does not work:

Hope this info helps a bit to fix the issue.
