I was at DebConf18 and told a developer I had recently submitted a bug regarding his stuff but forgot the exact package name. He was unable to find it in the UDD as there is no way to search on bug submitter, so he was forced to search the BTS. He should have been able to query on bugs submitted by jidanni@jidanni.org, with output ordered by date, most recent first.
Hi, Is this not possible via the regular BTS, for example: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?submitter=jidanni%40jidanni.org There are various sorting/collating options at the bottom of the page. As it happens, a link to the above page is available on every individual bug page: https://i.imgur.com/IhiI3J9.png Regards,
Anyway the BTS is more "ultimate" until a submitter search field is added to UDD.
jidanni, (Just to clarify, the underlying UDD database certainly supports querying by submitter although there may not be a web interface for that particular field yet.) Regards,
(OK. It seems the web interface would be just a line of HTML, much easier than the underlying query. So perhaps there should be a check done to so see if there are more cases like this where the query is already written, but the web interface has not been added.)
Hallo, Ich habe dir eine Mail geschickt, aber keine Antwort von dir, warum? Eddie
