The lvmraid(7) manual does not cover how to remove PVs from existing LVs and VGs and the lvconvert(8) manual for the -m/--mirrors does not mention that the optional PV argument when reducing the number of mirror images is the device to remove, instead it says the PV arguments are "the devices the images should be placed on", which is true when adding images but *not* when removing them, making the documentation of this option very misleading. This documentation problem caused a delay in my drive migration; I had to do a second sync on the new drive in my RAID1 lvmraid today before I could remove the old drive to complete the migration. The documentation from RedHat covers this quite well and is very clear and not misleading, it would be nice if RedHat could be convinced to contribute this to lvm2 upstream. https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/6/html/logical_volume_manager_administration/RAID-upconvert
