, Please be aware that supportfor Debian 8 (Jessie) has officially ended. Currently Debian 8 (Jessie) is only supported by Debian LTS Team, which mainly focuses on fixing security problems. The LTS Team may also fix some important usability bugs as well.

To get into contact with the LTS Team, please read Debian LTS Team's wiki page

how shutter is freezing on your system to see if they can debug the package
and provide with updates.
