The Domoticz home automation software is currently being prepared for Debian: https://bugs.debian.org/899058 The Zigate.fr USB stick is an inexpensive transceiver that allows Domoticz to communicate directly with Zigbee devices (lamps, switches, smart sockets, etc) without using a proprietary hub or bridge. This plugin allows Domoticz to use the USB stick.
