Better late than never, I managed to report the KMail crashes during/after
filtering inbox upstream. See:

Bug 404052 - Crash during/after filtering inbox, probably related to Qt WebEngine integration
https://bugs.kde.org/404052

This may or may not be a packaging related issue.
