The current maintainer of newmail, Martin Schulze <joey@debian.org>,
is apparently not active anymore. Therefore, I orphan this package now.

Maintaining a package requires time and skills. Please only adopt this
package if you will have enough time and attention to work on it.

If you want to be the new maintainer, please see
https://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/#howto-o for detailed
instructions how to adopt a package properly.

Hello,

I am a programmer with around 6 years of coding experience, and recently I
have become very interested in taking care of a Debian package and
developing it as a practical project.

I currently have a lot of free time, and I would truly enjoy having a
package like this to maintain. After reading the package description, I
believe I can take over the maintenance of this package and continue
working on it responsibly as a useful project.

I would be very happy to adopt newmail and help keep it maintained and up
to date.

Thank you for your consideration.

Best regards,
Danial maleki
