Dear Maintainer, The package "cryptsetup-initramfs" will not be installed even root file system is configured to be on a logical volume on an LVM PV inside a LUKS, making the installed system stuck in initramfs, unless we manually install cryptsetup- initramfs with rescue mode, or possibly before rebooting from debian-installer when installation is "finished".
This issue is confirmed to exist in the testing weekly build generated on Sep. 2nd 2019.
Hi! I can confirm this issue. cryptsetup-initramfs is not installed neither by the Buster, not by the Bullseye installer. When full-disc-encryption was set up, I have to boot in rescue mode and install the package. Regards Thomas
