Dear Maintainer, Use of control-U to kill (entirely delete) the current line of text has been fairly standard during password entry on Linux for decades; it's very disorienting that pinentry-tty doesn't support it. Looks as if a user has submitted a (tiny!) patch upstream to enable this, but not clear what upstream think of it: https://dev.gnupg.org/T4583 Best regards, Conrad
