Dear Maintainer, Press F3 on video file and get "Please install either mplayer or mpv to get information for this file" mpv is installed...
It seems that Debian mpv packages does not provide the mpv_identify.sh script, which mc needs to use mpv to display video information. There is nothing we can do at the mc side. Either maintainers can decide to ship it, or you have to use mplayer. https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv/blob/master/TOOLS/mpv_identify.sh

severity 939822 normal thanks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaKjhbsvSmE mplayer has problems with some newer file formats, including the result of downloading the above video with yt-dlp. Being able to use mpv to identify such videos would be really good. Also please install it under /usr/bin not /usr/share as mplayer does.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaKjhbsvSmE Sorry I gave the wrong URL in the previous message. The above is the one that when downloaded won't work with mplayer.
