Dear Maintainer,

   The lwm package installs /usr/share/xsessions/lwm.desktop, which
   gets read by sddm and shown as an option when logging in. However,
   when I selected lwm and tried to log in, it just freezes at the
   sddm-greeter screen.

I have a sddm set up with lwm as one of the options and it has not
happened to me so far. Have you tried looking in your ~/.xsession-errors
? I guess you would need to reboot to be able to access given that you
are dealing with a screen freeze. Anything relevant could be posted here.
