Hello,

running apps that use the 'background indicator in the left bottom corner'
are unmanagable, as this indicator is not there anymore

stretch: indicator present
buster: indicator not present

eg bug #914792 is an example of this

tested on 2 systems:
* upgraded machine: stretch>buster
* new buster (vm)
