According to https://github.com/jteeuwen/discussions/issues/2, it's unclear if that's actually the "new upstream", or even maintained (there are also merges after this discussion).

So while it's clear the upstream should be changed, the question is which upstream ?

The version at https://github.com/kevinburke/go-bindata seems to be the
most active, so I think that this should be the new upstream.

  Bumping severity to RC; either this package should be switched to an
upstream that's slightly more alive (although the fork previously
mentioned in this bug report looks somewhat dead now, too), or allowed
to be removed from testing prior to the forky release.
