Hi,
as you can read in bug #953832 I need a patch[1] for python-drmaa to find
libdrmaa.so.1.0. As Sergio pointed out in his comment[2] this is due an
unusual location of the library. It would be great if you would consider
installing it rather to
/usr/lib/${DEB_HOST_MULTIARCH}/
instead of
/usr/lib/gridengine-drmaa/lib/
My guess is that also other packages than python3-drmaa will profit from
this.
Kind regards
Andreas.

The thing is that gridengine is not the only implementation of drmaa, though it seems to be the only one in current Debian releases. If we wanted to do this right, I think we'd need to get a virtual package for libdrmaa that gridengine and, for example, slurm could both provide. thanks and regards Afif
Hi Afif,
would you volunteer to work on an accoring solution?
Kind regards
Andreas.
I don't think so...at least not in the near term. regards Afif
