Dear Maintainer, After upgrade to polari 3.36 I cannot join any room. Also all old subscribtion to rooms are gone. Starting polari from the command line gives the next error after selecting a server from the server list. (polari:6460): Gjs-WARNING **: 23:39:49.532: JS ERROR: TelepathyGLib.Error: _onRowActivated/<@resource:///org/gnome/Polari/js/connections.js:216:27 main@resource:///org/gnome/Polari/js/main.js:63:12 run@resource:///org/gnome/gjs/modules/package.js:222:12 start@resource:///org/gnome/gjs/modules/package.js:206:5 @<main>:1:1
Dear Maintainer, I can reproduce this bug and want to attach my error message. Polari displays no chatrooms and can't connect to anything while starting with a fresh configuration. The error is as follows: polari:341084): dbind-WARNING **: 12:32:48.891: Couldn't register with accessibility bus: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken. (polari:341084): Gjs-WARNING **: 12:32:51.618: JS ERROR: TelepathyGLib.Error: _onRowActivated/<@resource:///org/gnome/Polari/js/connections.js:216:27 main@resource:///org/gnome/Polari/js/main.js:63:12 run@resource:///org/gnome/gjs/modules/package.js:222:12 start@resource:///org/gnome/gjs/modules/package.js:206:5 @<main>:1:1 I have to use HexChat in the meantime, which is a working replacement. Thank you for your kind patience. Sincerely, Adrian Kiess
Dear Maintainer, Polari works again (for me) using Debian/testing. Sincerely, Adrian Kieß echo "g6.lan.dac uptime: " && /usr/bin/uptime
Dear Maintainers, I'm giving polari a try, so on a fresh install, I was unable to connect to any server. When selecting a server, the rotating wheel icon shows it tries to connect, then in abandons, leaving a lock icon about server requiring a password (which should not be the case). So actually the software is not usable. Have a good day,
