as far as I knoa you are not only maintaining mialmpick in Debian but
upstream of this software.  Today bug
   #967880 mialmpick: depends on deprecated libglade2
became serious and I guess sooner or later
   #967630 mialmpick: depends on deprecated GTK 2
becomes critical as well.  Do you see any chance to upgrade the code?
If not I guess we need to ask for removal of this package.
