Hi, During a rebuild of all packages in sid, your package failed to build on amd64. Relevant part (hopefully): http://qa-logs.debian.net/2020/10/27/spyne_2.13.15-1_unstable.log A list of current common problems and possible solutions is available at http://wiki.debian.org/qa.debian.org/FTBFS . You're welcome to contribute! About the archive rebuild: The rebuild was done on EC2 VM instances from Amazon Web Services, using a clean, minimal and up-to-date chroot. Every failed build was retried once to eliminate random failures.
Hi Bastian, Can you explain why you downgraded that bug? Thanks Lucas
Am 25.11.20 um 21:35 schrieb Lucas Nussbaum: Yes. The failing test is for an optional component of spyne (msgpack backend). I guess most users of spyne do not use that backend at all. Predominant use is the SOAP backend. I have prepared a version which excludes running the msgpack tests. I RFSed it in #debian-python but if you want to upload, please go ahead. That version builds (closes the ftbfs) but does not deal with the root cause. See the forwarded github issue for that.
Hi Bastian, Sorry, I'm clueless about python packaging, so I'd rather not! Thanks for fixing the package Lucas
