Dear Maintainer,

After importing files from a Canon D 350 adding commentary to files set the value to "binary comment".

Setting commentary seams OK with files from android smartphone ...

On another computer with stable version, this doesn't happen

Hello Florian,

thank you for spending your time helping to make Debian better with this bug
report.

I found "binary comment" only in the source of exiv2. So I reassign this bug to
exiv2.

Dear maintainer,

Please upload new version of exiv2, this is a very very very annoying bug (exiv2 only accepts ASCII characters)
Apparently the problem has been solved:

https://github.com/Exiv2/exiv2/pull/1432

Just my 2cts,

Richard.
