I have see that the homepage

do not respond anymore

I think that the new homepage is:

I have also see that here there is a new version 2.3.0

Both those repositories seem to have the history of the now dead
upstream imported without any serious development happening afterwards.
I'd rather not do the work of moving over to such a dead repository, and
I am also reluctant to spend extra busy work to remove the dead upstream
URL until there is some real reason to touch the package.
