Hi everybody,

we have added two new languages to the debian-installer recently (Kabyle and
Occitan).
Now I have asked the translators to do some test installation for their language.
Below is the mail with the result for Kabyle from Selyan (in CC).

He has chosen to install the Gnome desktop.
Within Gnome the regional settings were then not set correctly (set to "dz+la",
while it should be "Berber (Algeria, Latin)" to make it working fine).
Therefore he had English QWERTY layout instead of the Berber Latin layout.
Please find his screenshots attached.

I have verified that with one more test installation and I can confirm his
findings.
Locale is set to "kab_DZ" which I think is fine.
And /etc/default/keyboard has

	XKBMODEL="pc105"
	XKBLAYOUT="dz"
	XKBVARIANT="la"
	XKBOPTIONS=""

	BACKSPACE="guess"

which should also be OK.

during the installation of Debien in kabyle, I chose the Berber keyboard (algerie, latin) but after the installation I find displayed in the parameters that the keyboard displayed is : (dz+la) but it doesn't work, it's the QWERTY keyboard of the system that works (when I type using the (dz+la) keyboard I write in QWERTY.
but when I re-install the Berber keyboard ( Algeria, latin) from the keyboards list and add it, it works perfectly, please have a look at the attached screenshots
