Hello debian gurus,

No right click text selection context menu after right clicking and selecting rename on any file or folder on the KDE desktop.

I reported this to package "kde-plasma-desktop" because that is usually how I install plasma but this happens regardless of how I install the plasma desktop.

reproduce;
 - default install from "firmware-bullseye-DI-alpha2-amd64-netinst.iso"
 - during tasksel: unselect gnome, select KDE.
 - complete installation and boot into kde.

 - create new file on desktop.
 - right click on file and select rename.
 - right click and try to copy text from filename.

 right click menu is not working

Additional info;1
does not work with full install from D2 installer
does not work with minimal install with sddm & kde-plasma-desktop
does not work with debian-live-testing-amd64-kde+nonfree from 2020-11-16

works in dolphin filemanager in desktop directory
works in Kubuntu 20.10

Same results on hardware and in VM.
