PacRunner is a simple standalone daemon which communicates via D-Bus. It
is designed to receive its proxy configuration from a trusted source
such as ConnMan or NetworkManager, then simply exposes a method on D-Bus
for applications to ask the what proxy? question.

Little remark here, the daemon runs as root, that doesn't sound too good.

It might be possible to make it run as it's own user, IMVHO that should
be done before packaging it into debian
