Dear Maintainer,

My passphrase to unlock my database contains a quotation mark ("). I use the US
Intl keyboard layout. With Layout you need to press " key and afterwards the
space key.

If the passphrase is not shown during input, the input reads a white space
instead of the ". Only if make the input visible whenI type the password the
correct character will be entered.

    Open KeepassXC
    Unlock the database with passphrase that contains a quotation mark using US
Intl Layout wihout making input visible
    make input visible and see a white spacce instead of quotation mark

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

Making the password visible during input displays the correct character

   * What was the outcome of this action?

I have to either switch my password or make my password visible during typing

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

I aslo reported this directly to KeepassXC Project
(https://github.com/keepassxreboot/keepassxc/issues/5517). They claim, this is
a bug in qt5 which has been fixed in a upstream version. But I do not know
which qt package against to report this bug.

I would hope this could be fixed before the freeze, because this is quite
anoying.
