the freeze has begun and the German man page translation for fakeroot
is not yet included.
Could you kindly consider performing another upload with the
translation? If you need help packaging the update, please contact me.
You will need to ask for a freeze exception, but by experience those
are granted for l10n (only) changes.

Since 2020-12-21 this bug report with a german po4a translation is open.
For the benefit of the (german speaking) users it would be great if

I just noticed (by chance) that the update was dropped again, i.e. the
patches "man_de.patch" and "man_pt.patch" are no longer in shipped in
1.31-1.1.
Was this done on error?
Could you kindly perform an upload including them again? Or should I
