Running pristine-tar can take a while, especially if xz part. During
this, origtargz just sits there with no output and the user might wonder
what's going on. So adding something like 'print "Trying
pristine-tar\n";' before running pristine-tar checkout would be nice, as
other methods do yield output as well.
