Sometime in the last few weeks, I'm only able to successfully edit https://wiki.debian.org/U-boot/Status maybe 1 out of every 5 or 10 attempts. Either preview or save changes button usually ends with: Request Timeout Server timeout waiting for the HTTP request from the client. Apache Server at wiki.debian.org Port 443 I'm using firefox-esr on buster. live well, vagrant
Hi Vagrant! Hmmm. I'm not seeing any issues here, also doing test edits with Firefox. The page saves and I reliably get a response in less than a second on both Save and Preview. Can you give us more information about your setup please? Are you using IPv4 or IPv6? Do you have any problems editing other pages? Any extensions installed that might have an effect?
Well, thanks for testing it, that seems to have "fixed" it! Not sure what wiki.debian.org requires, but using https-everywhere, noscript, privacy badger and ublock-origin. I think I enabled javascript for wiki.debian.org. I was quite possibly originally connecting via IPV6, and temporarily disabled my IPV6 connection and then it started working again... even after re-enabling IPV6. Although it is hard to know weather firefox is using IPV4 or IPV6... Not sure how long to leave this bug open with an uncertain resolution... live well, vagrant
Hi my friend, I am Hambrook P. Jeremy, Please did you receive my previous mail message? Please reply urgently for it is Very Important; Hambrook P. Jeremy.
Same for me and any submissions to https://wiki.debian.org/DebianEvents/de/2023/DebianReunionHamburg#preview (both Save Changes and Cancel) just time out. Just, for me, it’s more of a 0-out-of-10-times thing. This is lynx on bullseye. I did try nullrouting IPv6 to see if it’s a network thing, but no; besides reading requests work, albeit slowly.
