Traditionally when I want to know why a binary package that was no longer
built by the coresponding source package was still in unstable I would
look at the cruft report at

https://ftp-master.debian.org/cruft-report-daily.txt

However in recent times (can't remember how long for now) this page has
only been giving information relating to experimental.
