Dear Maintainer,

The acpid package missed ec_sys module, as ec_sys.ko.gz from here
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ACPI_modules
Could you please add this module to the kernel package?

Thanks,
Rao

Why is this filed against the acpid package as you yourself seem to indicate
that this is a kernel (module) issue?

And here you classify it yourself as a duplicate bug report.
I'll await your explanation before reassigning and merging this bug into
bug #980555

Sorry that I filed it to the wrong package.
I tried to close this bug as I mentioned it is duplicated, but somehow it is still open.
Please reassign and merge it.
Thanks for your help,
Best,
Rao

No worries.

I'm just going to close 980553/980556 with this message.
Merging it into 980555 has no benefit and only adds noise to that bug.
