Dear Maintainer,

yesterday I used Golden Cheetah on this system for the first time.
After adding a user, I tried to import some workouts from a Garmin Edge
530. I was able to select one or more workouts and start the import,
but Golden Cheetah crashed repeatedly at the point just before it would
complete the import and switch to the main window.

I had started the program from Gnome. On the fifth try I started Golden
Cheetah from the command line, to see possible crash output, but then
it worked. I subsequently imported all data files I had tried before.

To my impression, there may be something wrong with the initial
database creation or such.

Happy to provide any further info.

Thanks for your work!

Cheers
Michael

Dear Maintainer,

I installed goldencheetah for the first time and tried to start it
from the command line. I created a user and at the first import of
data (a gpx track) it showd validated and indicated 50%. It shows me
step 3 of 4: Change Date/Time or Save to continue. If I press "Save"
it crashes with a Segmentation fault.

Here is an example for an imported gpx file which crashes GoldenCheetah:

I am happy to provide more data, just tell me what you need.

Thanks
Rainer
