Dear Maintainer, Multhreaded bullet has been available since 2014, yet is still not packaged. Since bullet already ships with single and double precision packages, it seems not to be too much trouble to introduce a -mt version as well. Arch already has a bullet-multithreaded package, as seen here: https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/bullet-multithreaded/ One package that would directly benefit from this would be OpenMW: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/openmw they currently make use of async physics (putting bullet into its own thread), but can spawn off additional threads of the bullet library if it has been compiled with mt support. I'm also willing to help where needed to make this happen. :) Cheers, Bret Curtis

Bullet was a build-dependency for FreeOrion seven years ago but since they dropped it I just try to take care of the existing features. It would be ideal if someone attached a patch for this one. This could be included in the next version after we have released Debian 11. Regards, Markus
