Dear Maintainer,

I use different webconference systems and I want to be able to change wich mic I use when I want (PC, webcam, headphones-mic).

On https://www.onlinemictest.com/, I can choose the mic and each one works. I have to reload the page to test each mic.

Another example, on https://meet.jit.si/, I can put my mic on/off but I can't choose my mic.

On these sites or on any webconferance sites I use, if I use pavucontrol to try to change the microphone, the different mic are listed.
When I click on one of them, the selected mic stay the same instead of choosing the right one.

I try the same procedure with "firefox-esr -safe-mode", the bug is the exactly the same.

I try the same procedure with chromium, it works perfectly (the right mic is choosen and works).

So I think it is a "firefox-esr" problem. Perhaps there is a link with https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=960301 ?
