Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?  Create a window with large number of letters in  title bar
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)? Resize window horizontally
   * What was the outcome of this action? black boxes appear around letters
   * What outcome did you expect instead? normal color background around letters
